  • Ứng dụng

    Coumarin (CAS 91-64-5) là một hợp chất thơm có nhiều ứng dụng: thường dùng làm chất tạo mùi có hương cỏ khô-vanilla trong nước hoa, xà phòng, chất tẩy rửa, chất làm mềm vải, nến và các sản phẩm chăm sóc cá nhân; trước đây từng dùng làm chất tạo hương thực phẩm và thuốc lá nhưng nay bị cấm hoặc giới hạn nghiêm ngặt ở nhiều nơi do độc tính trên gan và nguy cơ dị ứng; là khung hóa học quan trọng để tổng hợp các dẫn xuất coumarin như thuốc chống đông/thuốc diệt chuột (ví dụ warfarin), thuốc nhuộm laser và chất phát quang, chất hấp thụ UV/optical brightener cho nhựa và sơn; được sử dụng rộng rãi trong nghiên cứu làm đầu dò huỳnh quang, chất cho FRET, cơ chất enzyme (umbelliferone/4-MU), nhóm bảo vệ quang và mô-típ kết mạng polymer nhạy UV; đóng vai trò phụ gia làm bóng trong mạ niken; đồng thời là chất chuẩn/thuốc thăm dò dược động học để đánh giá hoạt tính CYP2A6 và chức năng gan; khi sử dụng cần tuân thủ quy định ghi nhãn dị ứng mùi hương và giới hạn phơi nhiễm theo GHS/EU.
