Globanone (CAS 3100-36-5) is a modern synthetic musk ingredient with a clean, sensual musky scent, featuring creamy, powdery facets and a soft floral nuance. Overall, it delivers a warm, dry, slightly balsamic musk base, with a refined hint reminiscent of freshly laundered fabrics and delicate dry tobacco, creating a smooth, enveloping “skin-scent” effect that feels very comfortable and intimate.

In fragrance compositions, Globanone acts as a backbone and bodying agent, helping floral, woody, amber, or fruity accords become rounder and more harmonious. At low dosages, it imparts a clean, refined character to white florals or powdery floral notes; at higher levels, Globanone provides a deeper, warmer musk effect that significantly enhances longevity in the drydown, especially in skin-scent, modern musk, and unisex fragrance structures.
