  • Ứng dụng

    Phytol (CAS 150-86-7) là một ancol diterpen mạch hở tạo nên chuỗi phytyl của diệp lục, được dùng rộng rãi như nguyên liệu trung gian đa năng trong công nghiệp hương liệu, thực phẩm, mỹ phẩm, dược phẩm – hóa chất mịn và nghiên cứu; trong tổng hợp hóa học, phytol cung cấp mạch phytyl để sản xuất vitamin K1 (phylloquinone) và là tiền chất quan trọng đi tới isophytol cho tổng hợp vitamin E, đồng thời cho ra các dẫn xuất như phytanic acid, phytanol và phytantriol phục vụ chế tạo chất hoạt động bề mặt, hệ nhũ và pha tinh thể lỏng cho dẫn truyền hoạt chất; trong ngành hương vị, phytol mang nốt xanh lá tươi hơi cỏ, được phối hương cho nước hoa, dầu gội, xà phòng, chất tẩy rửa và dùng ở liều rất thấp làm chất tạo hương thực phẩm để đem lại cảm giác tươi mát tự nhiên; trong mỹ phẩm, các dẫn xuất từ phytol được khai thác như chất làm mềm, giữ ẩm và ổn định hệ nhũ, còn bản thân phytol là chất điều hương có độ tan dầu tốt; trong nông nghiệp và bảo vệ thực vật, phytol và một số dẫn xuất của nó được khảo sát và ứng dụng trong các chế phẩm sinh học có hoạt tính xua côn trùng, diệt ấu trùng muỗi và kháng vi sinh; trong sinh học và vật liệu, phytol đóng vai trò neo lipid để gắn peptide hoặc phân tử sinh học nhằm tăng ái lực màng, tạo liposome hoặc hệ tự lắp ghép, đồng thời là chất chuẩn và thuốc thử trong nghiên cứu chuyển hóa diệp lục và isoprenoid; nhờ nguồn gốc sinh học dồi dào và khả năng phân hủy sinh học, phytol còn là nguyên liệu tái tạo hấp dẫn cho chuỗi cung ứng hóa chất xanh, giúp phát triển vật liệu, phụ gia và chất hoạt động bề mặt thân thiện môi trường.
