    Trong công nghiệp hương liệu, (6,6-Dimethylbicyclo(3.1.1)hept-2-en-2-yl)methyl acetate (CAS 35670-93-0) được ưa dùng để mang lại sắc thái gỗ–thông mát, hơi long não giúp tăng độ tươi và độ bền mùi cho nước hoa mịn, xà phòng, chất tẩy rửa, khử mùi và sản phẩm không khí; trong hàng tiêu dùng nó đóng vai trò chất che mùi và điều chỉnh mùi cho chất tẩy rửa bề mặt cứng, chăm sóc vải và nến thơm, đồng thời làm chất mang/co-solvent mùi thấp cho tinh dầu và sản phẩm chăm sóc cá nhân nhờ độ bay hơi vừa; trong hương thực phẩm, khi được phép theo quy định địa phương, nó có thể được sử dụng ở mức vết để bổ sung nốt terpenic, bạc hà–thông cho kẹo, kẹo cao su và đồ uống; trong hóa học hữu cơ và vật liệu, nó là nguyên liệu trung gian để tổng hợp các dẫn xuất terpene/acetate liên quan, thích hợp cho vi bao và hệ giải phóng có kiểm soát nhờ tính ổn định và tương thích tốt với ethanol, isopropanol, dầu thực vật và nhiều nhựa hương.
