Triplal (CAS# 68039-49-6) is a modern green aldehyde with a distinctive character of young leaves, fresh-cut grass and a soft lemony nuance. It delivers a sharp, cool “crushed leaf” effect with a slightly bitter, galbanum-like edge, creating a very clear and dynamic green-fresh impression in the top notes of a formula.

In perfumery, Triplal is widely used to reinforce or reconstitute muguet, white florals, citrus accords and natural leafy-green themes. It brings clarity, cleanliness and an open-air, outdoors feeling to the composition, making it highly suitable for unisex creations, sporty fragrances, fresh florals, green chypres, and any concept that calls for a modern “green leaf” signature.

Triplal offers good diffusion, stable performance and blends easily with many other groups such as citrus, aldehydic notes, muguet materials, ozonic, woody and musky ingredients. Even at low dosages it can “lift” the composition, open up the structure and add a crisp green dimension to the overall scent. It is an excellent choice for fine fragrance, air care, soaps, detergents and home care products where a clean, fresh, natural yet contemporary green impression is desired.
