Habanolide is a modern macrocyclic musk with a clean, dry profile, a subtle metallic sheen, and remarkable finesse. It evokes sun-dried linen and freshly showered skin, creating a natural “second skin” effect that feels elegant, understated, and unisex. Its crystalline clarity tidies up blends, lending a minimalist, pure impression.

In performance, Habanolide offers moderate to strong diffusion and excellent longevity on both skin and fabric. It lifts the top notes and keeps the composition moving, while providing a gentle fixative effect for florals, woods, and ambers without masking their identity. Its good stability across diverse bases makes it at home in fine fragrance as well as home and fabric-care applications.

In perfumes, Habanolide delivers a clean musky structure that sharpens citrus, white florals, tea notes, and dry woods, finishing in a soft, smooth, skin-like trail. In home and fabric products, it imparts a refined “fresh-linen” signature, helping the scent to spread evenly and linger long after use.

Habanolide is virtually colorless, easy to blend, and unlikely to cloud a formula, aligning well with modern, minimalist, and gender-inclusive briefs. Suggested use levels: 0.1–2% in fine fragrance, with higher levels possible in home and fabric care depending on sensory targets and technical requirements. Use in accordance with current fragrance safety guidelines.
