Applications
Junenol (CAS 472-07-1) is a fragrance ingredient with dry woody juniper/cedar, resinous-green facets, used to build aromatic, fougère, woody, gin-like and marine accords; it boosts diffusion, freshness and mild fixation, making it suitable for fine fragrance, soaps, shampoos, body washes, deodorants, detergents, fabric softeners, candles and air care; commonly a modifier for citrus, herbal, coniferous, resin and amber notes, with good fabric substantivity; typical use levels are about 0.05–2% depending on base; test stability in alkaline/oxidative systems and follow IFRA/local regulations.
