  • Applications

Benzyl salicylate (CAS 118-58-1) is widely used as a fragrance ingredient and fixative in perfumery and cosmetic formulations; it is also employed in household products to impart a floral fragrance in cleaners and air fresheners; it finds applications in coatings and inks as a fragrance additive; and in industrial manufacturing it is used as an intermediate in fragrance synthesis and formulation development.
