  • Ứng dụng

    Elemicin (CAS 487-11-6) là một hợp chất phenylpropene chứa ba nhóm methoxy, hiện diện tự nhiên trong nhục đậu khấu và một số tinh dầu, được ứng dụng chủ yếu làm thành phần hương – liệu tạo sắc thái ấm, cay ngọt và nhựa thơm trong gia vị, đồ nướng, kẹo, đồ uống hương liệu, đồng thời góp phần xây dựng các nốt balsamic, spicy và resinous trong nước hoa, xà phòng và sản phẩm chăm sóc cá nhân; trong hóa học hương liệu, nó còn được dùng để điều chỉnh và tăng độ sâu cho các công thức chứa nhục đậu khấu, quế, tiêu và elemi resin nhờ khả năng hòa tan tốt trong dung môi hữu cơ; về nghiên cứu và sản xuất, elemicin đóng vai trò chất chuẩn phân tích để định danh/dấu vân tay GC–MS đối với tinh dầu nhục đậu khấu và elemi, phục vụ kiểm soát chất lượng và phát hiện pha trộn, đồng thời là nguyên liệu trung gian thuận tiện để tổng hợp các dẫn xuất trimethoxybenzene và các khung phenylpropanoid liên quan cho khảo sát hoạt tính sinh học; trong dược liệu và độc chất học, hợp chất này được dùng làm chỉ thị nghiên cứu chuyển hóa, tương tác cytochrome P450 và hồ sơ an toàn của các allylbenzene tự nhiên; ứng dụng thương mại cần tuân thủ chuẩn an toàn hương liệu và quy định địa phương về mức sử dụng tối đa, lưu ý nguy cơ kích ứng/nhạy cảm da ở nồng độ cao, và bảo quản nơi mát, tránh ánh sáng/oxy để hạn chế oxy hóa làm biến đổi mùi.
