    Triethylenemelamine (CAS 51-18-3) is a multi-functional amine used primarily as a crosslinking/curing agent for thermosetting resins, particularly epoxy systems, where it promotes network formation and enhances chemical and heat resistance in coatings, adhesives and composite resins. It is also used as an intermediate in the synthesis of specialty polymers and in melamine-formaldehyde and phenolic resin formulations. In coatings and inks, it may serve as a hardener to improve curing and resistance properties. In electronics and encapsulation, it can be used in conformal coatings or potting compounds requiring robust crosslinking. It may also be evaluated for polyurethane or polyurea systems as a multi-functional curing component in polymer formulations.
