Applications
Triasulfuron is a sulfonylurea herbicide used for selective weed control in cereal crops, notably wheat, barley, and rice. It acts by inhibiting the acetolactate synthase (ALS) enzyme, limiting the synthesis of branched-chain amino acids in susceptible weeds. It is commonly formulated for foliar applications as part of pre- or post-emergence weed management programs and is often evaluated for compatibility in tank-mix programs with other herbicides, subject to local regulations and formulation limits.
