Applications
Tefluthrin is a pyrethroid insecticide used mainly as a soil-applied granular formulation and as a seed coating to protect crops from soil-dwelling pests, most notably corn rootworms and other soil insects; it is also applied as granular soil treatment in turf management to control grub activity in lawns and on golf courses; in horticulture and nursery production it is used as a soil treatment for ornamentals and container-grown crops; all uses are subject to local regulations and formulation limits.
