  • Applications

Sulfosulfuron (CAS 141776-32-1) is a selective sulfonylurea herbicide used primarily in agriculture to control grasses and some broadleaf weeds in cereal crops such as wheat, barley and oats, applied post-emergence to actively growing weeds. It is also used in professional turf and landscape management to reduce weed pressure in lawns, sports fields and ornamental turf. In pasture and forage systems, it may be applied for control of certain annual grasses and broadleaf weeds under label conditions. As with other ALS inhibitors, it is typically employed as part of an integrated weed-management program, with attention to crop tolerance, rotation, and local regulations.
