    Solvent Red 72 (CAS 4372-02-5) is an oil-soluble dye used as a colorant in solvent-based formulations. In industry it is commonly employed in inks and coatings (printing inks, automotive and industrial paints) and as a color additive in polymer colorants/masterbatches for plastics and other resins.
