Applications
Sodium percarbonate is used primarily as an oxidizing bleaching agent in household cleaning products and laundry detergents, releasing hydrogen peroxide upon dissolution to help remove stains and whiten fabrics; it is also employed in dishwasher tablets and other cleaning formulations in solid or granular form. In industry, it serves as an oxygen bleach for pulp and paper processing and for cleaning and sanitizing equipment. In the textile sector, it participates in bleaching and pre-treatment cleaning steps. It is also used in industrial cleaning formulations as a solid or powdered oxidizing source.
