    Sodium lauryl glycol carboxylate (CAS 119793-28-1) is an anionic surfactant used as an emulsifier, wetting agent and surface-active component in a wide range of formulations. In practice, it is commonly used in cosmetics and personal care products such as shampoos, facial cleansers and body washes to improve foaming and stabilize oil-in-water emulsions; in household and cleaning products such as dishwashing liquids, all-purpose cleaners and laundry detergents to solubilize oils and enhance dirt removal; in industrial applications as a cleaner and degreasing additive and as an emulsifier and stabilizer for polymer latexes, paints and coatings; in coatings and inks to improve surface wetting and leveling; in pharmaceutical topical formulations as a solubilizer or emulsifier; and in agriculture as a surfactant/adjuvant to improve spray coverage.
