    Sodium Fluoride (CAS 7681-49-4) is widely used as a source of fluoride in consumer dental care products such as toothpaste and mouth rinses, and it is employed as a fluoride additive in municipal water fluoridation programs. In industry, it functions as a flux or processing aid in glass and ceramic manufacture, and as a flux-support during certain metal and aluminum finishing operations in industrial manufacturing.
