    Sodium Caprate (CAS 1002-62-6) is primarily used as an anionic surfactant and emulsifier in formulations across cleaning, cosmetics, and industrial applications. In household detergents and laundry products, it enhances wetting and soil dispersion; in cosmetic and personal care products, it serves as a mild cleanser, surfactant and foaming agent in shampoos, body washes and creams. It also functions as an intermediate for the synthesis of esters and specialty chemicals, enabling the production of fragrance-related derivatives and lubricants. In industrial manufacturing, it acts as a stabilizer or processing aid in polymer dispersions, paints and coatings, aiding emulsification of resins and pigments.
