    Sodium 2-ethylhexyl sulfate (CAS 126-92-1) is an anionic surfactant used as an emulsifier, wetting agent, and foaming enhancer across multiple sectors, including household and industrial cleaners; cosmetics and personal care products; polymer and plastics processing (latex stabilization and polymer emulsions); coatings and inks (improved wetting and leveling); agricultural formulations as an adjuvant and emulsifier for pesticides; textile processing as a surfactant for dyeing and finishing; and metalworking fluids and other industrial lubricants where effective detergency and dispersion are needed.
