Applications
Quizalofop-ethyl (CAS 76578-14-8) is a selective herbicide in the aryloxyphenoxypropionate group, commonly applied as the ethyl ester to control grassy weeds in crops after emergence by inhibiting ACCase in grasses. In practice, it is used as post-emergence grass control in field crops, including cereals (such as wheat and barley) and oilseed crops (such as canola), as well as in soybean, corn, and rice production systems. It is also used in turf and landscape management under appropriate regulatory approval. Its use is subject to local regulations and formulation limits.
