Applications
Prochloraz is an imidazole fungicide used as an active ingredient in crop protection products. In agricultural practice, it is commonly applied as a systemic and protective fungicide across crops such as cereals, fruit trees, vegetables, vines, and ornamentals, delivered as foliar sprays, soil drenches, or seed treatments to suppress fungal diseases by inhibiting ergosterol synthesis. It is also used in greenhouse programs and, in some regions, for post-harvest protection of stored produce. As with other crop protection actives, use is subject to local regulations and label restrictions.
