  • Applications

    Potassium ricinoleate, the potassium salt of ricinoleic acid derived from castor oil, functions as an anionic surfactant and emulsifier. It is commonly used in detergents and cleaners as a foaming and emulsifying agent; in cosmetics and personal care as a surfactant and mild emulsifier for cleansers and emulsions; in coatings and inks to improve wetting and pigment dispersion; and may serve as a rheology modifier or processing aid in certain polymer or plastic formulations.
