    Potassium octatrienoate (CAS 1147842-10-1) is the potassium salt of a polyunsaturated fatty acid and is used as a surfactant and emulsifier in cleaning and household products. It is also employed as an emulsifying and surface-active agent in cosmetics/personal care formulations. In polymers/plastics processing, it may act as a processing aid to improve wetting and dispersion. In coatings and inks, it can enhance dispersion and surface wetting.
