Applications
Polyoxyethylene dioleate (CAS 9005-07-6) is used as a nonionic surfactant, emulsifier and dispersant across a range of formulations. In cosmetics and personal care it serves as an emulsifier and oil–water balance agent; in household and industrial cleaning products it functions as a surfactant, wetting agent and cleaner; in paints, coatings and inks it acts as a wetting agent, pigment dispersant and formulation additive; in polymer and plastics processing it serves as an emulsifier or processing aid for resins and latexes; and in agricultural formulations it may act as an adjuvant to improve spray deposition and leaf coverage, subject to local regulations and formulation limits.
