Applications
Polyethylene glycol monolaurate (CAS 9004-81-3) is a nonionic surfactant employed as an emulsifier and solubilizer in cosmetics and personal care products (cleansers, emollients); as a surfactant and wetting agent in household cleaners; as an emulsifier and pigment-dispersion aid in coatings and inks to improve pigment dispersion and film formation; as a processing aid and stabilizer in polymer manufacturing and dispersion formulations; and may be used as a solubilizer or emulsifier in pharmaceutical formulations.
