    Octadecylamine (CAS 124-30-1) is primarily used as an intermediate to prepare cationic surfactants and quaternary ammonium compounds for detergents, cleaners, and personal care applications. It is also employed as a surface-modifying agent in polymers and coatings to improve wettability and compatibility.
