    N-Lauroylsarcosine is an anionic surfactant derived from sarcosine and lauric acid. It is commonly used as a cleansing, emulsifying and wetting agent in cosmetics and personal care formulations such as facial cleansers and shampoos. It also appears in household cleaning products as a surfactant ingredient in detergents and surface cleaners.
