  • Applications

Methyl Ferulate (CAS 2309-07-1) is the methyl ester of ferulic acid. In industry, it is primarily used as an intermediate in the synthesis of aroma compounds and fragrance materials (for example, vanillin) and may also serve as a fragrance ingredient in formulations; it is also used as an antioxidant and stabilizer in cosmetics and personal care products; in the polymers, coatings and inks sectors it functions as an antioxidant/stabilizer to improve durability and color stability of formulations.
