Applications
Lauroyl methyl glucamide is a glucamide-based nonionic surfactant commonly used as a mild cleansing and emulsifying agent in cosmetics and personal care formulations (such as shampoos, facial cleansers, and moisturizers) as well as in household cleaning products to enhance cleaning performance and foaming without harshness. It is used as an emulsifier, wetting agent, and formulation aid in industrial manufacturing to improve dispersion and stability of multi-component systems. Additionally, it serves as a surfactant and emulsifier in coatings and inks to aid substrate wetting and pigment dispersion, and can function as a processing aid in polymer formulations to improve uniformity of emulsions and ease of processing.
