Applications
Iodosulfuron-methyl-sodium (CAS 144550-36-7) is a sulfonylurea herbicide active ingredient used in agricultural weed-control formulations. It is applied post-emergence to provide selective control of grasses and some broadleaf weeds in cereals. Typical applications include: (1) selective weed control in cereal crops such as wheat and barley; (2) existing as the active ingredient in commercial herbicide formulations or as a component in tank mixes; (3) often employed in combination formulations with mesosulfuron-methyl or other sulfonylureas; (4) used within integrated weed-management programs subject to local regulations and formulation limits.
