Applications
Hexyloxodecanamide monoethanolamide (CAS 884905-11-7) is commonly used as a nonionic surfactant and emulsifier in cosmetics and personal care formulations, supporting cleansing, foaming and dispersion of other ingredients; it also serves in household and industrial cleaners as a surfactant and wetting agent to improve cleaning performance and formulation stability; in polymers, plastics and coatings it acts as a processing aid, dispersion stabilizer and wetting/leveling additive for polymer dispersions, coatings and inks; and as an intermediate in the synthesis of other surfactants and specialty chemicals.
