Applications
Formamidopropyl betaine is commonly used as a mild zwitterionic surfactant in personal care formulations (shampoos, body washes, facial cleansers), contributing to foam generation, foam stability and conditioning properties. It is also employed in household and industrial cleaners as a co-surfactant to improve wetting, emulsification and cleaning performance.
