In practice, it is applied to field crops and greenhouse crops as foliar sprays or soil treatments to target pest larvae; it is used for stored-product protection to reduce damage by moths and beetles in grains and processed foods; it is employed in the protection of ornamentals and nursery crops (flowers, potted plants) in greenhouses and landscapes; it is integrated into pest management programs for various crops; and it is formulated in common pesticide formulations such as emulsifiable concentrates, granules, or wettable powders.
