  • Applications

Esfenvalerate (CAS 66230-04-4) is a pyrethroid insecticide used in agriculture to protect crops from a broad range of pests, including caterpillars, aphids, beetles and mites. It is commonly formulated as emulsifiable concentrates (EC) or wettable powders (WP) and applied to crops such as fruits, vegetables, cereals and cotton, as well as to ornamentals and greenhouse crops to manage pests. In landscape and turf management, it is used to protect lawns and ornamental plantings from herbivorous insects. It may also be used in forestry programs to control certain caterpillar and beetle pests. Use is subject to local regulations and formulation limits.
