  • Applications

Dodecyldimethylamine oxide is a nonionic surfactant that is commonly used as a surfactant, emulsifier and foaming/wetting agent in a range of formulations. In cosmetics and personal care, it helps stabilize emulsions and improve cleansing performance in products such as shampoos, body washes and facial cleansers. In household cleaning products, it serves as a mild surfactant and foaming agent. In industrial manufacturing, it functions as a wetting agent, emulsifier and stabilizer for polymer and pigment suspensions and for coating and textile formulations. In coatings and inks, it improves substrate wetting, dispersion and leveling. In polymer processing, it can act as a processing aid or emulsifier for latex and other polymer dispersions. It is also commonly evaluated as a surfactant or adjuvant in agrochemical formulations.
