  • Applications

Dodecyl Gallate is primarily used as an antioxidant and stabilizer in oil- and fat-containing formulations to inhibit oxidation and extend product shelf life; it is also employed as an antioxidant additive in plastics, polymers, and coatings to improve oxidative stability during processing and service. In cosmetics and personal care, it may be added to stabilize oil components and fragrance ingredients. It is used in rubber and elastomer formulations to enhance aging resistance. It may also function as a processing aid or stabilizer in adhesive and resin systems to improve oxidative stability.
