    Dilauryldimethylammonium chloride (CAS 3401-74-9) is a quaternary ammonium surfactant used as a cationic conditioning agent. It is employed in household and industrial cleaners, fabric softeners and textile finishing formulations, and personal care products for conditioning and texture.
