Applications
Dihydroxyethyl lauramine oxide (CAS 2530-44-1) is a mild surfactant and emulsifier used in a range of formulations. In cosmetics and personal care, it serves as a cleansing, foaming and conditioning agent in shampoos, body washes and facial cleansers. In household and industrial cleaners, it provides effective wetting, emulsification and dispersion of hydrophobic ingredients to enhance cleaning performance. It is also used as an additive in coatings and inks to improve pigment dispersion and surface wetting. In polymer formulations, it can act as a stabilizer or processing aid by improving compatibility of hydrophobic components.
