  • Applications

Dichlorprop is used primarily as the active ingredient in selective herbicide formulations to control broadleaf weeds in agricultural crops; it is also applied in turf management for lawns, golf courses, sports fields, and landscaped areas; additionally, it is used in forestry and vegetation management along roads, rails, and rights‑of‑way to suppress weeds; and to some extent it can act as a precursor for the synthesis of related phenoxy herbicides. All applications are subject to local regulations and formulation limits.
