Applications
Diamyl phthalate (CAS 131-18-0) is primarily used as a plasticizer for PVC and other polymers, imparting flexibility and ease of processing to films and plastic products. It is also employed as a component in coatings and paints, as well as in inks and adhesives, to improve elasticity and film formation. Its solvent and carrier properties make it a processing aid in plastic and rubber formulations, supporting formulation and dispersion of additives.
