    Decyl acrylate (CAS 2156-96-9) is a reactive acrylate monomer used to synthesize acrylic polymers and copolymers. In industry it is commonly employed in UV-curable coatings and inks to improve flexibility and adhesion; in adhesive formulations, including pressure-sensitive adhesives, to tailor softness and tack; as a comonomer in polymer and elastomer systems to lower glass transition temperature and increase flexibility; in photopolymer resins for electronics, coatings and 3D printing to promote rapid cure and robust networks; and in sealants and specialty coatings to enhance film-forming properties and weather resistance.
