    D&C Red No. 6 (CAS 5858-81-1) is primarily used as a cosmetic colorant in externally applied products, such as lipstick, eye makeup, and skincare formulations. It is also employed as a pigment in coatings and inks for decorative or labeling applications, and as a colorant in plastics and polymer products.
