    C.I. Solvent Blue 7 (CAS 60-09-3) is a solvent-dye colorant used primarily in solvent-based inks and coatings to impart blue hues during printing and surface finishing. It is also employed as a colorant in plastics and polymer formulations, where it can disperse in resin matrices to color materials across multiple plastic types. In industrial manufacturing it can be used in adhesives and sealants to provide product differentiation and assist quality control.
