  • Applications

C.I. Acid Orange 52 (CAS 547-58-0) is a water-soluble azo dye used primarily for dyeing protein fibers such as wool and silk and for leather under acidic dyeing conditions; it is also employed as a colorant in industrial printing inks and coatings, and may be used for dyeing synthetic fibers such as nylon under acid conditions, while also serving as an intermediate in the synthesis of other azo dye products.
