  • Applications

    Carvacryl acetate (CAS 6380-28-5) is principally used as a fragrance ingredient and fixative in perfumery, imparting herbaceous, oregano-like notes. It is also employed in cosmetics and personal care formulations to provide scent, and in household products such as cleaners and air fresheners as an aroma component. It can serve as an intermediate in the industrial manufacture of other fragrance compounds, and may be evaluated for use as a flavor/aroma ingredient in limited food applications.
