Applications
Carboxin is a dicarboximide fungicide widely used in agriculture to protect crops from soil- and seed-borne diseases. It is commonly applied as seed-treatment coatings for cereals and vegetables to suppress Rhizoctonia, Pythium and Sclerotinia infections; used as in-furrow or soil-drench treatments at planting to reduce root rots and damping-off; employed in nurseries and greenhouses for protecting seedlings; featured in seed-care formulations and often combined with other fungicides to broaden disease control; and applicable across field crops and root crops where soil-borne pathogens are prevalent.
