    Bis(2,4-di-tert-butylphenyl)pentaerythritol diphosphite (CAS 26741-53-7) is a phosphite-based antioxidant used as a processing stabilizer in polymer formulations, especially polyolefins, where it scavenges hydroperoxides and protects against thermal oxidation during melt processing. It is commonly used in combination with hindered phenolic antioxidants to achieve synergistic stabilization. Beyond polymers, it is employed as a stabilizer additive in coatings and adhesives formulations, in lubricants and industrial oils to improve thermal stability, and in other plastics-related applications such as cable insulation and molded parts.
