  • Applications

Bemotrizinol is a photostable UV filter widely used in cosmetics and personal care, particularly in sunscreens, moisturizers, and day creams. In addition, it is evaluated as a photostabilizer for coatings and inks to improve lightfastness and color retention. In polymer and plastics formulations, it can be incorporated as a UV absorber to reduce UV-induced degradation and yellowing. In the packaging sector and other polymer-based materials, it is also considered to extend product life by enhancing the photostability of the system.
