Applications
Behenamidopropyl Betaine is a mild amphoteric surfactant widely used in cosmetics and personal care as a primary and co-surfactant, a foam booster, and a conditioning agent for shampoos, body washes, and facial cleansers. It is also employed in household cleaning products as a gentle surfactant and emulsifier that improves foaming and cleaning performance. In industrial manufacturing, it functions as an emulsifier and stabilizer in coatings, inks, and polymer emulsions, and can act as a thickener/ rheology modifier in complex formulations. It may be used in detergent formulations and industrial cleaners where a mild, compatible surfactant is desired. The use is subject to local regulations and formulation limits.
