Applications
Acid Green 25 (CAS 4403-90-1) is an acid dye primarily used as a colorant for protein-based textiles, notably wool and silk, with dyeing conducted under acidic conditions; it can also dye nylon fibers under similar conditions. It is used for leather dyeing and finishing. In industrial manufacturing, it is commonly employed as a colorant in printing inks and coatings, and is incorporated into polymer systems, including masterbatches for plastics and synthetic fibers, to impart color. It may also be considered for specialty dye formulations within coatings and packaging.
